Electronic medical records are the coming standard of care for medical care. At Evergreen Women’s Care, we see the value in the efficiencies and completeness of the electronic medical record and adopted this standard in 2006.
Digichart is an online medical record that we use in our office. Through the patient portal (which you fill out), we can review your medical history, applying it as appropriate to your care in our office. You will also be able to see some of your own brief medical history, including medications. On the physician side, the electronic record allows us ready access to your information without the awkwardness of paper charts. This allows us more time with you. It enables us to receive laboratory results quickly through communication with the laboratory. We are also able to send your prescription electronically directly to the pharmacy, saving time and money.
