Dawn Russell, M.D. was born and raised in North Central Kansas where she worked with her family on a beef ranch. Her undergraduate and medical school studies were at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internship and residency in Ob/Gyn at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Russell believes in the application of evidence-based medicine in the care of women throughout their lives. She has special interests in the hormonal, physical, psychological and social care of pregnancy and menopause and their accompanying life transitions.

Dr. Russell enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband Tod.
