Our OB/GYN practice is dedicated to promoting optimal health for women. We specialize in caring for the health and diseases of the female reproductive organs as well as pregnancy and its impact on the family. We encourage any questions or concerns you may have regarding our practice.hiophy
We care for you as an individual, hoping to promote your health and prevent disease. Our endeavor is to provide the best medical care possible to meet your needs, both physical and psychosocial. Our safe, cost effective and high quality health care will have its greatest impact on patients who are prepared to accept responsibility for their own health care choices. To this end, we will provide education to encourage your active and informed participation in medical decisions. Our office appointments are individualized and allow time for questions.
Our practice has combined the talents and personalities of five individualized physicians and three advanced registered nurse practitioners, each having their own patients. The physicians share call for all Evergreen Women's Care patients at night, on weekends and during holidays since we feel we cannot be on call all the time and still be able to extend quality service to our patients.
There may be minor variations in treatment recommendations, but we are associated out of trust and respect for each other and feel comfortable that our individual commitment to patients can be met by any one of us. We are all dedicated to the highest quality and most personalized medical care possible. Our hope is that you will enjoy and benefit from our combined practice philosophy.
We offer comprehensive obstetrical care including pre- and postnatal care, delivery, and family planning. Gynecological care encompasses the treatment of problems and diseases of the female in general, and, more specifically, the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease of the breast and female organs.
For medical problems not included in our specialty, we will work closely with your Primary Care Provider or other specialist. Though we occasionally treat minor, unrelated problems during your visit to our office, we do encourage you to establish a relationship with a Primary Care Provider for your non-OB/GYN care. For your convenience, we do have a Nurse Practitioner who is recognized as a Primary Care Provider for women, in the office. If you need to locate another specialist, we will be glad to assist you in finding the appropriate physician.
We urge our patients to attend available childbirth and health education classes. All of us at Evergreen Women's Care welcome any questions you might have concerning prenatal, postnatal, and general health questions. We hope to be your community health resource; we want our patients to be well informed and able to obtain information and support they need in all aspects of their health choices.
Please call during our office hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to schedule an appointment. Extended hours are available with our nurse practitioners. If you are unable to make your appointment time, please notify us as far in advance as possible. When emergencies, deliveries, and unforeseen delays take us out of the office, we will try to minimize your inconvenience by notifying you. If needed, appointments will be conveniently rescheduled.
Older siblings are invited to attend prenatal visits. However, for your child's safety and the consideration of other patients, we discourage unattended young children in our office waiting room.
We encourage you to call our office if you have a problem or a question. So that we may give you optimal care, please call during regular office hours when your medical records will be available. Prescription refills are available by phone during office hours only. Please allow us 24 hours to comply with your refill request. If you need a prescription, please check to see if your pharmacy is open and have your pharmacy phone number at hand. Before calling us we suggest you call your pharmacy first to determine if a refill prescription is needed.
